Getting Ready For Summmer

Berry season is just around the corner, and I'm celebrating early with these Black Currant macarons. Black currants have a fresh tart taste that pair with the rich sweet buttercream beautifully. Coming soon, look for rhubarb, blueberry, red currant, and more ....

Handmade Harvest a Success!

Handmade Harvest was a great success. Folks were lined up to get into the show an hour before it opened to get the amazing grab bags, and all of the macarons were sold out by mid afternoon. A big thank you goes out to Emily and Colleen for pulling off another great show. I look forward to participating in the Christmas show. Until then I'll be working on holiday flavours .... candy cane anyone?

Come to Handmade Harvest this Saturday!

I'm excited to announce that my macarons will be making their official debut at Handmade Harvest this coming weekend. Handmade Harvest is a one of a kind craft show where you can find unique handmade gifts (and macarons!), and spend the day surrounded by inspiration. This is NOT your grandma's craft show.

I will be offering macarons at the cafe. You'll be able to get Milk Chocolate Praline, Equator Mocha, Lemon Marscapone, Maple Pecan, Raspberry, and Sea Salted Caramel!

When:  Saturday, May 7, 10 am - 5 pm
Where: Almonte Agricultural Hall (about 30 minutes west of Ottawa)

More information on their website, Facebook page,  or in this flyer.

Milk Chocolate Praline Macaron and Equator Mocha Macaron

Sometimes the most traditional flavour combinations are the best. Two of my personal favourites are Chocolate Hazelnut and Mocha. My Milk Chocolate Praline Macaron is filled with milk chocolate and hazelnut ganache. My Equator Mocha Macaron is filled with dark chocolate ganache infused with Almonte's own Equator Coffee Roaster's Mufferaw Joe Blend. Perfect for an afternoon snack!

Maple Pecan Macarons

I'm so excited it's maple season again! In honour of this, I'm offering a classic combination of Maple Pecan. The secret is the fresh buttercream; Made with real butter, and pure Lanark County Maple Syrup -  the filling creates a full-on maple experience!
